| The Marbled Godwit is still present today. A scope is required and the heat shimmer makes viewing difficult. After watching the Godwit through my scope for about 20 minutes it eventually raised it's wings and the cinnamon colored underwing was very evident. Other birders I spoke to today said that they had a different looking Godwit earlier this morning, which suggests that the Hudsonian Godwit seen yesterday afternoon may still be present as well. We are still searching for it.
Good birding,
Directions: Oshawa Second Marsh is located off of Colonel Sam Dr. In Oshawa south of highway 401. Park at the west end of the GM parking lot and walk west to the observation tower.
