While it started off a little slow this morning the birding has picked up as
the morning has warmed up. As of 11:00 this morning a total of 17 warbler
species have been seen in Point Pelee. The highlight is a male Prothonotary
Warbler immediately east of Bridge F on the Woodland Trail.

Blue-winged Warblers remain reasonably common being seen in the Loop Woods at
the Tip, Woodland & Tilden Trails. An Orange-crowned Warbler is being seen
again at the northern end of the Chinquapin Trail where it meets the Tilden
Trail. A Least Flycatcher and White-throated Vireo are being seen in the same
area.

A White-breasted Nuthatch was seen on the Shuster Trail just north of the
Visitor's Centre.
