Hello everyone, I am sending a quick note for people who are attending this Saturday. The Toronto Islands ferry service has increased its fares as of May 1 and this is not yet reflected on the OFO website. The prices for adults are now $7.50 and seniors are $5.00. Meet time is 7:30 but since there is often a queue it is advisable to arrive a little earlier. The ferry should depart by 7:45.
The weather forecast looks great thus far but rain could be a possibility. You can choose to bring extra clothing since there are few places to find cover. My advice is also to wear long pants since European fire ants can be a slight issue over there. Bring your lunch. As always I will continue all the way to Hanlan's but anyone can leave on ferries after the morning. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday morning.
