Hi Local birders in GTA... This morning at The Riverwood Conservancy bird walk
we had some 18 partecipants and about 44 species of bird..
Hilights
1- Rose-breasted Grosbeak
2- Yellow Warbler, plus Pine...Black-and-white..., Yellow-rumped Warblers
3- Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher
4- both Ruby-crowned and Golden-crowned Kinglet
5- both Red-breasted and White-breasted Nuthatch
6- House Wren, Eastern Phoebe at nest, Barn and Tree Swallows
7- both male and female Pileated Woodpeckers ( photo ops )
8- Great-horned Owl.,. Undisclosed location, giving a great show with
Cooper's Hawk and Crows mobbing it.
