The ospreys are back at the nest on top of the light standard at Badenoch south
of Guelph. This one is a bit unusual in that there is no water immediately
apparent and they are nesting on a soccer field so you can get pretty close and
they are not perturbed by oglers. All the rest of the stadium lighting as been
removed for some reason (too expensive to run?). Ordinarily I wouldn't
broadcast nests but this one is pretty obvious and right on the road where
there are cars whizzing by as well as houses.

Badenoch is a crossroads east of Highway 6 about 5 km. South on Hwy 6 from the
40l to the center of Morriston (the town just south of the 401). At the
stoplight, turn left and drive about 5 km to the crossroads. Can't miss it.

PS. The body of water of interest to the ospreys is Mountsberg reservoir which
is across the 401 from the nest - easy for osprey, not so easy for those of us
in cars.
