There was a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker at Gibbon's Park this afternoon. It was first heard, then seen in a stand of coniferous trees not too far from the pool. This is one of the first, if not the first, records for Middlesex this year. Directions:From Richmond Street, near St. Joseph's Hospital, turn onto Grosvenor Street, and continue down to the parking lot. You should see the "Gibbon's Park" sign on the way in.
