The previously reported bird is still here actively feeding. It is currently on the beach just to the east of the park. The land it is on is private property but the bird can easily be observed via bins, decent camera lens or even bare eyes as it works the beach while remaining on the park property.
Richards park is on Lakeshore east of Lorne Park. If the previously reported Shoveler is present I can not locate it. C. Cheatle, Hamilton.
