Hello Ontario Birders,

Colin Campbell and I spent the day on Amherst. We were surprised to find an
Eastern Meadowlark near 7995 2nd Concession Rd near the home of R &A McGinn.
Another bird that we had not seen reported was a Ring-necked Pheasant, located
just past the Vesper Sparrow spot on Long Point Road. There has a silver band
on its left foot.
We also saw plenty of Rough-legged Hawks, some Red-tailed Hawks and Northern
Harriers. Also one Kestrel and one Northern Shrike.
