Hi there,

Rod Dubois reported at 5:45 PM (as it was getting dark) that the Northern
Fulmar was resting on the Ottawa River not far from the Quebec shore near
the filtration plant on the south side of Boulevard de Lucerne east of the
Champlain bridge and west of Parc Moussette. This location would be
opposite (north and a little west of) the Remic Rapids Lookout which is on
the north side of the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway opposite Tunney's
Pasture.

Bate Island is another good lookout point.

Good luck tomorrow morning. I just received a note from work -- I have to
work, otherwise, I would be out there scanning the river. Again, good luck
on seeing the bird and thanks for all of the nice comments and messages.

Good birding,

Jon
