Visitors:
A couple visited from Amherstburg along with my sister Paula Jarjosa from
Michigan. 


Weather:
Temperature ranged from 4.2 - 9C. W winds at 15 km/hr changed to SW by the
end of the count. Partly cloudy skies in the morning changed to sunny in
the afternoon.

Raptor Observations:
We had nice diversity today with 11 species including all three Falcons and
both Eagles. We had 41 migrating Red-tailed hawks during the 11-12 period.
The Osprey that has been observed on recent days made an appearance in the
afternoon. Thanks to Donny Moore, Jim McCoy, Bob Hall-Brooks, and John
Craft who helped out with today's count.  

Non-raptor Observations:
68 Tundra Swans migrated today along with 331 American Gold finch. Addition
species included Canada Goose 82, Mute Swan 59, Gadwall 16, American Black
Duck 2, Mallard 259, N Shoveler 27, N Pintail 15, Ring-necked Duck 4,
Lesser Scaup 2, Bufflehead 6, C Merganser 25, Pied-billed Grebe 7, Great
Blue Heron 3, Great Egret 1, American Coot 93, Bonaparte's Gull 3,
Ring-billed Gull 17, Herring Gull 6, Mouring Dove 3, Red-bellied Woodpecker
1, N Flicker 1, American Crow 134, Black-capped Chickadee 2, Golden-crowned
Kinglet 2, American Robin 4, European Starling 180, Cedar Waxing 23, N
Cardinal 2, Red-winged Blackbird 136, Rusty Blackbird 36. 

Predictions:
Sunny Skies with SW winds at 20-25 km/hr. Moderate temperatures ranging
from 10-15C.
