Hi Everyone,
I'm posting this message for Irene Woods who is having trouble with her
computer. This afternoon, she went to the general location that Garry
found the bird this morning and was able to find it on the east side of the
road, near the entrance to Dog Beach. She and I are not sure of the
address but it is the large white cottage to the south of the Dog Beach
parking lot. Here is her message:

*Birders:*
*The Solitaire returned late this afternoon--4:10 p.m--to a Juniper Tree.*
*This tree is loaded with berries--plenty for the winter ! *
*The tree is located on the South side of the large white cottage,
immediately*
*beside the entrance to "Dog Beach" [ signed ] on Lakeshore Rd.*
*This is just a short drive along the lake, south of the Visitor Centre.*

*I spoke at length with the occupants, and showed them a pic of the bird.*
*They will expect a larger # of birders than usual, in the next few days.*
*Note: They DID NOT give permission for entrance on their property.*
*The bird is skittish of people--but not cars. The bird is easily seen
from*
*your vehicle stopped on the roadside.*

*There will be a detour on Kent Co. Rd. 15 beginning Nov. 05th*
*To access Rondeau Park---follow the detour signs.*

*Thanks to Garry for finding the bird, and to Ric and Anne for specific*
*instructions to the bird [ before I saw Garry's email ! ]*

*Directions: You will have to follow Detour signs after leaving #3
Highway,*
*on Kent Rd. 15. Chatham-Kent.*
