Chris Cheatle and I were able to get crippling looks at this beauty, just 6-10
feet off the lighthouse rocks at Tommy Thompson Park in Toronto.

I was originally lake watching when I saw a man to my right, about 50m away,
point down towards the water. Seeming that the action was slow, I went over,
and this non-birder was pointing at a Red Phalarope! Wow!

Life bird for me and numerous photos taken.

Tommy Thompson Park is located at the base of Leslie Street in Toronto. The
lighthouse is the southernmost point of the park.

Happy birding!
