Weather:
It was a picture-perfect day at the park. The sun was shining, the sky was
clear and a gentle breeze drifted in off the lake.

Raptor Observations:
After a quiet start, Turkey Vultures took center stage by late morning.
Sharp-shinned Hawks, Cooper's Hawks and Northern Harriers rose to take
their place until late afternoon when the vultures returned for an encore.
All three falcon species had their say as well. And not to be overlooked, a
lone Broad-winged Hawk attempted to sneak by unsuccessfully.

Non-raptor Observations:
Red-breasted Nuthatch (1), Green-winged Teal (1), Blue Jay (6000+),
Red-winged Blackbird (200+), Chimney Swift (3), Forster's Tern (80+), Wood
Duck (2), Black-crowned Night Heron (2)

Predictions:
Mostly sunny with highs in the low 70s and moderate southwest wind.
