I gt to the site at 7:15 pm and the bird was still in the field on the east side of the road. After the sun set, at 7:30 it flew across the road and into a group of walnut trees at the south end of the house property on the west side of the road. I couldn't spot it in the trees in the fading light but it may be roosting there.
