Niagara area birder Don Mills passed away yesterday after a two plus year fight with cancer. He was a long-time member and a huge supporter of OFO, and was much involved with the Niagara Falls Nature Club for better than 25 years.
He was a quiet, soft spoken gentleman and will be greatly missed by the birding community. Friends will be received on Friday, September 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill. The Memorial service will take place on Saturday, September 19th, 10:30 am at the funeral home.
