Good morning, After being flushed late yesterday evening, the American Avocet returned this morning to the mouth of Pinecrest Creek. It's currently feeding ferociously in typical avocet fashion - sweeping motion from side to side.We didn't observe this feeding style yesterday. We recommend viewing from Britannia Point at the end of Cassels Road or the Ottawa River Parkway from the bike path (east of Britannia):http://www.neilyworld.com/neilyworld/orwo10.htm
