At 6:20pm we watched a White-faced Ibis fly and circle the lagoons several times before flying south towards Rondeau Bay.
The bird was missing either it's innermost primary or outermost secondary feather on its right wing.
Directions: the lagoons are located in Lagoon Rd, west of Blenheim. A permit is required to enter the lagoons.
