This morning at about 11:15 am I saw a bird high in an aspen or poplar, about 70 feet from me, that struck me as unusual. I took a few photographs and the only thing I can make of it is a Dusky Thrush. Another bird with only the back visible sat down near it. It may have been a tad smaller. I took its picture as well. They were in the narrow strip of land when you walk from the Spit to the Wet Woods, about where it widens out and allows you to turn left toward the larger woods of tall trees with Box Wood underbrush. This seems a rare sighting and I leave its veracity to the experts. Please tell me where to send my story and pictures.
