A male Yellow-headed Blackbird was found by Paula Clarke, John Stevens and Rick Young at 1064 Concession 7 Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake yesterday (April 12) at about noon. They were participating in the Buffalo Ornithological Society April Count. It was seen on the ground below a feeder behind the house and flew to a small marsh to the left of the house where it was also visible. It was not seen again later in the day and has not been reported this morning. The feeder can be seen from Concession 7 Road if you are to the left of the house. It was not seen again later in the day and has not been reported this morning. The owner of the property asks that you respect their privacy but suggests you see the bird from Concession Road or come up the driveway to look at it.
