Yesterday I managed to capture an interesting bit of woodcock behaviour on 
video. Would love it if someone could tell me exactly what is going on here as 
I can find a description of it anywhere.

This was next to the Eramosa river in Guelph just where Stone Rd E crosses over 
the river. There is a parking lot off Stone Rd. in front of the Barber Scout 
camp. Here is a google map of the location
