The small number of Greater Snow Geese that have been reported this week
along the St. Lawrence between Ingleside and Iroquois were bolstered today
in the Winchester-Chestervillle areas. Birds were on the ground at both
sites. This is not the main flight yet but the numbers are worth checking
and will likely increase before the weekend, especially tomorrow with very
mild weather moving in.

Directions: Winchester lagoons are accessible from Winchester. From the
centre of town take Ottawa Street until you are out of town. The road turns
right (east). The lagoons are on the south side of the road a short
distance ahead.

Chesterville - Immediately south and east of Chesterville along Cty Rd 43
in fields near the river.
