Hi folks: Fish Crows are to be looked/listened for as American Crows come
back, to their breeding territory, this month

It is time to keep an "ear" for Ontario Fish Crow.
In the Video above you will find the "Ontario" Fish crows of Jan 31, 2015 That
Dan Salisbury and I has in Ft Erie, as well as those that have been around in
Bronte, Oakville (2012, 2013), in Ft Erie 2012, and to compare/contrast Fish
Crow in Tampa Florida.
 After Andrew Don put in a ebird report about Fish Crows in Ft. Erie, Dan
Salisbury and I found 2 Fish Crows on Torrance St., between Catherine and
Gilmore Rd in Ft Erie. Since then, others have been finding these 2 FICR in the
same area...at times on. Ellen St or  Jennet St. { see  Natham Miller's report }
     Note that, around this time last year, David Pryor had a Fish Crow near
Ben McChree Park in south Mississauga and Dan Salisbury had one over his house
in central Mississauga near Riverwood Conservancy. And, they appear thave
nested in Burlington/Oakville Area
    Fish Crows are expanding in Ontario. As the "Crows" migrate back into our
areas keep you ears open for the higher pitched single or double Nasal call
"Cah" that the Fish Crows give. It is time for their return!!
