Hello weekend birders. Be aware that...

A- there are now , this pm, at least 18 Common Redpolls (flammea flammea...ssp 
)at Mississauga's Saddington Park. Reached by driving south from qew on 
Mississauga rd. Until you reach the parking lot at the lake. Park and walk east 
for 25 m to Cedar and Alder trees with a Squirrel leaf nest. Between the lake 
and kids playground or west of the Credit River.

B- there are at least 2 Surf Scoters and 25 WW Scoters amongst 1000's of ducks 
( Scaups, Redheads, Goldeneys, Gadwalls, etc.) at WATERSEDGE PARK, West of 
Rattray marsh, take Meadowwood south of Lakeshore Blvd all the way to the lake
  Note there has been a Snowy Owl here
C- PAINTED BUNTING is still putting on a show at Arkendo Park, SW of Winston 
Churchill & Lakeshore Blvd.

D- Juvenile Bald Eagle on Ennisclaire south of Lakeshore Blvd, East of Gairloch 
Gardens.

E- other..
   1- Peregrine Falcon sitting on St Lawrence Pier at Lakeside Park, west of 
Southdown Rd
   2- there is a LE OWL and a Screech Owl in Erindale Park, NE of Dundas & 
Credit River

A note that this coming Wednesday there will be another Riverwood Conservancy 
bird walk, at Saddington  Park. 8:30 am. Hopefully Redpolls will still be there.
