The most recent copy of the journal, Ontario Birds has been sent out to
members of the Ontario Field Ornithologists. The copy completes the three
issues for last year. The 148 pages produced last year contained 12
articles including egret recoveries, nesting magpies, eagles dropping a
grebe, birds associated with Hurricane Sandy, eider subspecies
identification, two new species to the province (Brown Booby and Elegant
Tern) and regular features like the Ontario Bird Records Committee report
and the Distinguished Ornithologist Award. Numerous colour photos, maps
and figures make it a useful resource for Ontario birders. Submissions to
the journal are welcomed by the editors. Visit the OFO website to become a
member or contact the editors (www.ofo.ca<http://www.ofo.ca
