A single female White-winged Crossbill that made a brief appearance at my feeders on Jan 3 has reappeared. The bird has made three visits to the niger feeder this morning.
Our house is number 7360, on the 25th sideroad about 5 km south of Alliston. Drive directly south on King street from Alliston. The 25th sideroad is just after you cross the Nottawassaga River. Anyone interested in pursuing this bird should park on the road and walk up the driveway. The feeders in question are in the back yard and can be viewed from the carport.
