Ontbirders,

This afternoon around 2:20 p.m., while doing the St Catharines CBC, Rob Dobos and I found an immature Harris's Sparrow. It was in a cedar hedge in the company of about 40 House Sparrows at the west entrance to Cherie Road Park. This is a small park in a quiet neighbourhood and the streets are narrow with limited parking so please be respectful.  You just never know what will turn up on a CBC.

Cheers,
Barb Charlton

Directions:
Take QEW Niagara Ontario St exit. Go north on Ontario St. Turn right onto Lakeshore Rd to Vine St. Turn left on Vine St and go almost to the Lake. Turn right on Butler Cres and follow it to Largo Drive. Largo Dr. is a very short dead end street. The entrance to the Waterfront Trail (sign posted) and Cherie Road Park is on the right hand side of the road where Largo Dr. ends. The Harris's Sparrow was with House Sparrows that were in the cedar hedge along the left hand side of this entrance walkway.
