At approximately 3:15 this afternoon several chilly observers, with hope dwindling, were treated to the three Ross's Geese flying right over head. They were in tight formation with one another, but mixed in with large numbers of Canada Geese which had appeared low in the southwest, overflown the pond, and continued on to the east. We lost sight of them as the flocks began to break up and intermix as they began to investigate the distant fields.
