Ontario Birders,

This summary concludes LPBO's 55th Migration Monitoring Season. Tens of
thousands of waterfowl still blanket the Inner and Outer Bays. Tundra Swans and
as many as 300 Sandhill Cranes have been accumulating in Big Creek Marsh and
fields along Front Rd. Passerine activity has remained steady, but comprised of
a wintery mix of finches and late sparrows with a few goodies mixed in. The
river of blackbirds has subsided to a stream. The 2015 spring season will
commence April 15, 2015. Go Birding!
