Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Bob Hall-Brooks, Dan Lumm

Observers: Bob Hall-Brooks, Bob Pettit, Donny Moore, Larry Ludwicki

Visitors:
A few people were out for a walk with their dogs.

Weather:
Winds were from the South to Southwest at 10-25 km/hr. Cloudy skies with a
light rain shower mid morning. Temperatures ranged from 5-7C.

Raptor Observations:
The 9 raptors that migrated today including 2 Merlin, flew low past the
tower. An adult Red-tailed Hawk was behaving more like a Harrier surveying
the marsh on it's way through. Juvenile and adult local Bald Eagles were
visible all day perched in trees West of the tower or gliding up and down
the shore. Thanks to Bob Hall-Brooks who counted during the 7-8 a.m. hour,
and to Larry Ludwicki, Bob Petit, and Donny Moore for observing.

Non-raptor Observations:
Two Common Loons passed just North of the tower, and a Carolina Wren was
singing from a tree East of the pond. Duck species included Hooded
Merganser, Common Merganser, Bufflehead, Northern Pintail, Mallard, Gadwall
and Wood Duck.

Predictions:
Cloudy skies with some sunny breaks. High temperature around 7C. SW winds
at 25km/hr.
