Species Turkey Vulture- 56 Bald Eagle-2 Northern Harrier- 8 Sharp-shinned Hawk-2 Coopers Hawk-2 Red-shouldered Hawk- 4 Red-tailed Hawk- 161 Rough-legged Hawk- 4 Golden Eagle- 6 American Kestrel-2 unidentified- 2 Total: 249 Official Counter- Jerry Ball Observers: R Pye, E Cole, and C Van Goch Weather: Snow early in the morning, strong north winds, cloud cover- 80 to 100%. Other birds: Great Egret- 4 (no wing tags), Sandhill Crane- 9, Snow Goose- 21, Snow Buntings- 110, Lapland Longspur-1, Pine Siskin- 16, and American Crow- 228, Directions: Exit from the 401 at Brock St. in Whitby, Go south on Brock St. to Victoria St. . Go west on Victoria St. to Halls Road. Go south on Halls Road to the 2nd walkway to the marsh.
