Observation start time: 10:00:00
Observation end time: 11:00:00
Total observation time: 1 hours

Official Counter: Chris Burris

Observers: Keith Sealy, Mark Cunningham

Visitors:
Thanks to Chris, Keith and Mark for getting the count done for today.

Weather:
Wind seemed E which allowed the bird pipeline to get cleaned out in the
10-11 hour. Lots of sunshine today and a cool morning with temp at 12C,

Raptor Observations:
A total of 95 birds for the period...13 Shins, 2 Harriers, and 80 TVs.
After that, enough of a southern vector appeared in the wind so that the
skies dried up... so spent some time looking for passerines.

Non-raptor Observations:
Hermit and Swainson’s Thrushes; Eastern Bluebird; Pine Siskin; both
Kinglets; Winter, Carolina, and House Wren; White-crowned, White-throated,
Song, and Swamp Sparrow; Dark-eyed Junco; Yellow-rumped and Orange-crowned
Warbler; Eastern Phoebe; (approx. 80) Rusty Blackbirds; Brown Creeper were
the highlights.

One Ruby Meadowhawk (dragonfly) was also noted.

Predictions:
Southerly winds for Monday will push migrants inland and will likely mean
less birds passing the hawkwatch itself.
