Hugh McNeil was the officious reporter for these two dates. Many thanks to the
keen eyed observers who identified birds (specks) that were more than a
kilometer away.
Highlights were a Goshawk, plus two shows by a resident Redtail. On October 9,
the resident gave us a hunting show with a hop from a low branch onto a
chipmunk, and yesterdaysurprised us, and a visiting Redtail, with a vertical
fifty meter dive intothe old Oak.
