Observers: Dennis Patrick, Gwen Patrick

Visitors:
We had visitors from Kingsville, and Andy from Cincinnati who came just in
time to "adopt" a Red-tailed Hawk and release it from the tower. Thanks for
the fun day everyone!

Weather:
12C rising to 22C in the afternoon with lots of cloud cover for most of the
day. Winds came from the N and switched to the SW later on in the day,
pushing the birds to cross the marsh a little bit farther north.

Raptor Observations:
A great day for getting incredible views of birds up close! Sharp-shinned
hawks, Peregrines, a Merlin, Turkey Vultures, Red-tails and Harriers all
passed by right overhead. A nice variety of 11 species were seen with all
three falcon species making an appearance and a total of 320 birds.

Non-raptor Observations:
There was also a nice variety of non-raptors flying this morning.
Bonaparte's Gulls were continuing through with 35, 104 American
Goldfinches, 99 Warbler species, an Indigo Bunting and 4 Killdeer were
seen. Blue Jays are still doing well with 18040 today! 5 Monarchs. See
today's eBird list

Predictions:
