A juvenile Ross's Goose, likely the same bird observed last weekend in Ottawa
at Andrew Hayden Park and on the Ottawa River, was located by Anita Pari, Phil
Wright and I near 3701 Carling Ave. The bird is frequenting the grassy fields
on both sides of the road, a golf range and the lawn in front of the government
buildings. Please note that you may be asked questions by security if you
photograph the bird while it is in front of the government buildings as this is
a "no photograph" location.

To reach the location, take the Moodie Dr. exit, direction north, from the
Queensway (Hwy 417), turn west on Carling Ave. until address 3701.
