| 6:30pm Van Wagners Beach, Hamilton (Hutch's Restaurant) Very near shore and farther out, chasing Ring-bills. From the QEW, exit at Centennial Pkwy to Van Wagners Beach Road and check any of the beach access points. Hutch's is Northwest up the shore toward the Skyway. This bird is darker than a juvenile Herring Gull and short-billed with quite a bit of barring and very distinct white bases to the primary feathers. Photos taken.
