This message is posted with the permission of the ONTBirds moderator. Hello ONTBirders,
Now that Spring migration is over it's time to register for the OFO Convention! This year's convention takes place in Ottawa from Friday, September 26 to Sunday, September 28. The Ottawa Field Naturalists' Club organizing committee has put together a great three-day program of field trips including lots of activities for young birders. We have two evening events planned. On Friday night, Bruce Di Labio will be giving a presentation on the Birds of the Ottawa Region and Sarah Rupert will be hosting Birding Jeopardy. At Saturday's banquet, our keynote speaker will be Chris Earley of the Guelph Arboretum who will be speaking about The Bird Teacher: How Birds are Nature's Ambassadors. It's going to be a great convention! Please register on the OFO website at: www.ofo.ca/site/page/view/convention.programs and email me if you have any questions.
