Thank you to the great group of participants at our Opinicon Road, Napanee Plain & Amherst Island IBA Tour.
Opinicon Road was very quiet this morning and for the first time we missed Cerulean Warbler. While never predictable we also missed both Cuckoos. Good looks of Yellow-throated Vireo, Golden-winged Warbler, Loggerhead Shrike, Upland Sandpiper, Grasshopper Sparrow, Red Knot (in stunning breeding plumage) made up for the misses. Other highlights included Kentucky & Worm-eating Warbler and Least Bittern.
