Once again Red-necked Grebes are nesting in Bronte Harbour as they have every
year since 1997. The nest tire was recently installed and quickly occupied. As
of this afternoon there were no eggs. The nest is not a thing of beauty,
containing many large sticks. There is a photo on my Flickr page.

Directions: Exit the QEW at Bronte Road (Oakville) and go south to the lake and
turn left on Ontario St. at Bronte Road’s terminus. The nest is just east of
the restaurant complex on the right.
