In my post regarding Snow Geese I had indicated that no rarities were
spotted. As often happens with large flocks it is only upon reviewing
images that we see what at the time was hidden. There were two white morph
Ross's Geese in the flock along Cty rd 34 south of Green Valley.

>From Hwy 401 Exit at Lancaster and proceed north just past Concession rd 7.
The geese are in the flooded area. If birds are feeding or resting they can
be very difficult to identify. Most of the birds today had their heads
tucked in their wings for at least part of the time we observed them.
There are some Lesser Snow Geese in the flocks we saw today. They are a bit
smaller.
