Two more Trumpeter Swans appeared today first spotted by A. Simpson who let me
know right away. This ends my 10+ day of searching the Mississippi and Tay
Rivers for Swans. Thanks to Arnie!
Drive west from Ottawa on 417 then 7 to Carleton Place. Take main exit
(Franktown Rd) north into CP. Go all the way to Lake Ave and turn left onto
Lake. Go down Lake maybe 1 KM where High School is on the right. Parking on
right side of road there just after school. May need to walk closer to rivers
edge and scan north side for swans. The Swans do not seem to stay long.
