Sent from Windows Mail Monday March 17, we lost another birder who was a spring fixture for years at Point Pelee. MRS PARULA...Leola Sealey. After a battle with alzheimers with her husband support and care she passed away in London at the age of 86. Woodland warblers and the excitement of spring was so thrilling to her and Keith. I would always run into them together on the trails like two exited kids. She always had a big smile and something to share. Their love for these birds could always be seen on their licence plate ”PARULA”. Her other passion was her love of cats that gave her constant company and enjoyment. Wife of Keith Sealey, loved mother of Jim Hill (Debra), David Hill and always remembered daughter Bonnie(1972). At the families request there will be no funeral service and cremation has taken place. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of London and Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements 519-455-9343. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
