This has definitely been the year for Snowy Owl posts, and I no longer even feel like they constitute a valid Ontbird alert!! What does that say about how things have changed? But for any birders in Niagara who would still appreciate an alert, there is a male and female pair that have been occupying the Garner Estates area for several weeks. Specifically, they can usually be found in the field directly across from Saint Michael High School in the evening. In the morning, they are often in the Kelly Drive and Parkside Road area sitting on the highest point of two-story houses.
