A Barrow’s Goldeneye was present on Lake Ontario, north of Prince Edward Point in Prince Edward County. It was seen with a group of Greater Scaup, Long-tailed Ducks, White-winged Scoters and Red-breasted Mergansers.
DIRECTIONS: From Black River, follow County Road 13 south. When the fire numbers reach 4800, you will see water close to the road on your left. The Barrow’s Goldeneye was seen in this area. Note that the road is icy and wet in places.
