Hi there, Today (January 9th) at 11:35 AM, I observed:
Gray Partridge (9) fly across a field and into dense cover. I was not able to take photographs - they paused for only a moment at the base of the dense cover they were near before hurrying themselves out of view. Hopefully others can get on them and photograph them! Location/Directions: The intersection of Brophy Dr. and Moodie Dr., 600 m (approx; using Google Maps) N on Moodie on the W side of Moodie Dr. There is a sharp divide from agricultural field to dense shrubbery that runs W from Moodie. The partridge entered the cover approximately 100 m W of Moodie. Take the 416 South to Exit 57 (Bankfield/Brophy) then continue W along Brophy. Moodie Dr. will be your second right, approximately 2.0 KM from the 416 exit.
