Just getting the word out that there is a very interesting gull at the control gates above Niagara Falls that may be an adult atlantis Yellow-legged Gull found by David Beadle, Bob Yukich, Glenn Coady and I. We have taken numerous photos from fairly close range but there is still a chance it could be a hybrid Herring x Lesser Black-backed Gull. The bird is alternating between sitting on the breakwall and sitting on the water in front of the breakwall.
