Yesterday, the Rosetta McClain Gardens Raptor Watch in Toronto recorded its
50,000th raptor in the 10-year history of the watch. Weather was perfect for
a late season hawk flight along the Scarborough Buffs overlooking Lake
Ontario. Close views of several adult Red-shouldered Hawks were one of the
highlights. Walter Fisher, official counter, has posted the 10-year count
totals and yesterday's count with photos of hawks and counters by Ann
Brokelman and Filipe Lameira.
