It was another lovely, but slow, day at the hawk watch. Hawks have to be 
bunching up somewhere for they're certainly not racing past the Durham watches. 
Today's conditions could have produced a small flight but only one Northern 
Harrier was counted. Even the six Turkey Vultures that started to kettle, gave 
up and headed east.

Other birds of interest amongst the 51 species noted were:

8 Great Egrets (no wing tags)
4 Blue-winged Teal
over 100 Rusty Blackbirds Marsh Wren
1 Barn Swallow
12 Dunlin

3 Monarch Butterflies passed by

Well, maybe next week ... sigh!
