Hi everyone

fyi see report from Buffalo below.

Many of us spent a long but sunny day on the Canadian side and left probably
about 15 minutes before this happened yikes. No sightings on the Canadian side
from 8 am to when we left.

Good birding

Apologies, that should have read Tony Shrimpton. It's been a long day...

The booby was seen at the last possible moment of daylight (after sunset) when
it flew in and landed on the north corner of the main concrete block of the
reef lighthouse. This was the first sighting since we arrived at 9:30 this
morning. Tony Leukering spotted it as it landed and sat silhouetted on the
lighthouse, in just about the only possible spot it would have been visible.
Should be there at dawn but gods know where it was all day. Very little else to
report from a pleasant but looong day in the tower.

Saw the Brown Boobie with Mike Galas and 3 others this morning at around 7:30.
It flew out into the lake soon after. There were no sightings from then to the
time I left, around 4:00.
