Visitors:
We were pleased to have the company of 18 grade four students, John
Winebrenner and Lisa Silvey from Indiana and Urban Lundberg from Michigan.
Weather:
Mostly cloudy to overcast. The temperature ranged from 18 to 20C. winds
were light out of the South. Rain during the last two hours slowed the
migration.
Raptor Observations:
Few raptors were moving today. The highlight was an adult peregrine hunting
the marsh early.
Non-raptor Observations:
Blue Jays 1779, Tree Swallows 824, Red-winged Blackbirds 74, Spotted
Sandpiper, Northern Flicker 6, Chimney Swift 6, Gold Finch 7, Cedar Waxwing

Predictions:
Dawn will bring overcast skies with light Northerly winds. As the day
progresses we will see a little sunshine and the winds will back to the
Southwest. The temperature will climb from the low teens to the low
twenties.
