A small party of us found a dead Black Tern on a narrow shingle bank at the 
side of the Grand River about 2Km north of Cayuga.
The bird was still fresh and showed no signs of trauma although its neck was 
raw looking, but its right foot was GROSSLY deformed into two cherry-sized 
spheres.
